Ukadiche Modak at Manishas Kitchen

Ukadiche Modak (उकडीचे मोदक) is a signature delicacy at Manisha’s Kitchen. It is very well know Maharashtrian delicacy and a famous as offering (Naivedyam) for Hindu deity Lord Ganesha. The word modak means “small part of Bliss” and it symbolises spiritual knowledge.

At Manisha’s Kitchen, this handmade steamed rice dumpling is, filled with pure brown jaggery, fresh roasted coconut, cardamom and charoli seeds. Each piece is made with love and devotion so it can taste even soulful. Usually available on one hour advance notice can be consumed with pure ghee within 24 hours.

Healthy Ladoos in Dubai at Manisha’s Kitchen

Manisha’s Kitchen is known for its variety of healthy ladoos (laddus). As we care for your health, all healthy range of ladoos are made from purest ingredients, pure cow ghee and in brown jaggery. We do not add any preservatives or food colours to increase its shelf life.

Alive Ladoo:
Aliv seeds or halim seeds or garden cress seeds are not only beneficial for lactating women but also boosting hair growth. Aliv seeds are a rich source of iron, folic acid, Vitamin E and Vitamin A. They have immunity-boosting properties. Our Aliv ladoos contain aliv seeds, grated coconut, jaggery and pure cow ghee. They can easily stay for 10 days without need of refrigeration.

Dinkache (Edible Gum) Ladoo:
As per Ayurveda, gond is known to boost stamina and health, helping one keep away from falling sick due to cold and cough. It also is known to treat low Vitamin D levels in the body. As the ladoos help lubricate the joints, they are extremely powerful to reduce back pain as well as other joint pains. They are helpful to recover strength after the pregnancy (delivery). Our Dinkache ladoo contains, wheat flour, gond (edible gum), crushed nuts, brown jaggery and pure cow ghee.

Methi Ladoo:
Eating one methi ladoo early morning will not only keep the blood sugar levels in control, but will also help in keeping your body temperature warm, especially during the winter. Fenugreek seeds are an excellent source of soluble fibre and antioxidants which slows down the absorption of sugar in the blood. It also provides relief from constipation. It aids digestion by flushing out harmful toxins from the body. If you’re suffering from severe constipation, then consumption of fenugreek decoction early morning can provide immediate relief.

Our Methi ladoos are made from fenugreek seeds flour, wheat flour, crushed nuts, brown jaggery and pure cow ghee.

Bajra Til Ladoo:
Bajra seeds (Pearl Millet) are rich in protien, fibre and are gluten free. They are equally good for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. Bajra seeds also helps control sugar levels and good for bones. As per Ayurveda, Til seeds (White Sesame Seeds) has an ability to generate heat and energy in the body and its beauty and hair benefits.  It also boost skin and dental health. We make our Bajra Til Ladoo. with perl millet flour, white sesame seeds, crushed nuts, brown jaggery and pure cow ghee.

Jowar Ladoo:
Jowar also known as (Sorghum) in English has lately become the ‘new quinoa’ due to its gluten free property and the innumerable health benefits that it provides. Jowar helps fight against free radicals, Boosts immunity, Improves heart health. Manisha’s Kitchen Jowar ladoos contains jowar flour, crushed nuts, brown jaggery and pure cow ghee.

Misal Pav Thali in Dubai at Manisha’s Kitchen

Misal pav (Marathi: मिसळपाव) is a popular dish from Maharashtra. It consists of misal (a spicy curry usually made from moth beans) and pav (a type of Indian bread roll). The final dish is topped with farsan or sev  (Indian savory), onions, lemon and coriander (cilantro). It is usually served hot with bread or buns and buttermilk or yoghurt It is served as a breakfast dish, as a snack and also as a full meal.

Manisha’s Misal Thali is known for its flavours. It is served with mixed sprouted (usal) curry, extra curry, Indian mixture, chopped onion and lemon for garnishing, onion bhajjia (fritters), green salad, butter milk and two buns. The flavours can be made spicy, just ask the waiter before you order. Available all days.

Maharashtrian Bhakari Thali at Manisha’s Kitchen

Manisha introduced Bhakri Thali in 2017 and since then it has been a signature item and most sought after. All dishes are cooked in an authentic way and using Manisha’s own Goda Masala.
